The Influence of Work Engagement, Work Environment, and Organizational Learning on Organizational Commitment in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in the Agricultural Trade Sector

Abstract


This research aims to analyze the influence of work engagement, work environment, and organizational learning on organizational commitment in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the agricultural trade sector in Gunungkidul Regency. The sample in this study was 100 respondents who worked in agricultural shops in Gunungkidul Regency. The data collection technique used was a survey method with the research instrument used was a questionnaire. The results of the instrument test stated that the data in this study was proven to be valid and reliable. In the Classic Assumption Test, it is stated that the data in this study are normally distributed and produce a regression model that is free from multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity. The results of this study prove that: (1) Work Engagement has a positive and significant effect on Organizational Commitment, (2), Work Environment has an effect positive and significant on Organizational Commitment, (3) Organizational Learning has a positive and significant effect on Organizational Commitment. These results have implications for future researchers to study in more depth how these factors influence organizational commitment in other sectors, especially in different MSME contexts or in other industries. The findings of this research have implications for MSMEs in the agricultural trade sector in Gunungkidul Regency. Company owners need to pay attention to these factors to increase employee organizational commitment
