Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of the angle of the solar panel on the intensity of sunlight and the pump water discharge. The experiment was conducted in variable angles of 10, 20, 30, and 40 degrees, with a 240WP solar panel and a 12V 100Ah battery as a support for the installation. Data was taken at 09.00 to 15.00 WIB. The results of the study showed that the angle of inclination determines the optimization of energy absorbed by the solar panel to produce electricity which is then used to turn on the water pump which aims to distribute nutrients and water distribution in the hydroponic plant cycle, data obtained at an angle of 10 degrees the intensity of the discharge that can be run by the pump is 16.65 liters per minute, while at an angle of 20 degrees the pump intensity is 18.61 liters per minute, then at an angle of 30 degrees with the intensity of the water pump flowing nutrients to the plants with a value of 18.78 liters per minute, and at an angle of 40 degrees the pump can run with an intensity of 21.91 liters per minute, where the results of the four angles greatly affect the results of sunlight and weather conditions at the time of the study. The implication of this study is the potential to increase the rate of water discharge for the distribution of nutrients and water can be maintained at a constant flow by optimizing the duration of sunlight. However, further analysis is needed to understand the intensity of sunlight and weather conditions that often change and are uncertain. Suggestions for further research are to create simulations with certain software to get better results in the field, and to calibrate the instrument used with more accurate data results.
