Penelitian ini berjudul “Usaha Pelestarian Seni Sebagai Khazanah Budaya Indonesia Melalui UKM KABUMI di Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia”. Penelitian ini diadakan untuk meneliti Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa KABUMI di Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia sebagai upaya pelestarian seni tradisional sebagai khazanah budaya Indonesia yang sudah mulai terkikis. Mahasiswa/i yang menjadi anggota UKM KABUMI di Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia menjadi subjek dalam penelitian ini. Dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif beberapa mahasiswa dilibatkan sebagai narasumber dalam proses pengumpulan data kami. Dari data-data inilah akan diketahui bidang seni apa saja yang difokuskan di UKM KABUMI, bagaimana UKM KABUMI berjalan, alasan mengapa narasumber memilih UKM KABUMI, serta mendeskripsikan seberapa besar kecintaan mereka terhadap budaya, seni, dan UKM KABUMI itu sendiri.
