Abstract

Dalam pembelajaran Matematika, diperlukan pemilihan metode pembelajaran yang tepat untuk memaksimalkan dampak dari kegiatan tersebut. Namun, mengingat setiap siswa memiliki metode efektifnya masing-masing, pastilah sulit untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut. Kegiatan riset ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui metode pembelajaran mana yang paling efektif digunakan dalam proses mengajar berdasarkan hasil literatur dengan hasil dari terjun ke lingkungan sekolah. Hasil riset yang dilakukan di SMPS Utama Medan menunjukkan bahwa memanfaatkan teknologi dan buku pedoman dengan metode yang beragam cukup untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang menarik dan mendidik perkembangan akademik dan karakter siswa. Hasil riset ini menyarankan untuk menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang realistis, sehingga siswa memahami pentingnya ilmu tersebut dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.
