Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji persepsi mahasiswa terhadap Mahkamah Konstitusi (MK) sebagai lembaga peradilan tertinggi di Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui wawancara melalui Gform dan studi literatur, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pandangan mahasiswa dari berbagai program studi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa mengakui pentingnya peran MK dalam menjaga konstitusi dan demokrasi, meskipun terdapat keraguan terkait independensi dan transparansi lembaga ini. Faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi persepsi meliputi akses informasi, pemberitaan media massa, dan dinamika politik. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan transparansi, independensi, dan komunikasi publik oleh MK guna memperkuat kepercayaan masyarakat.
