Abstract

Pemilu adalah suatu proses untuk melahirkan pemimpin yang adil, berintegritas, mengedepankan kepentingan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Secara konseptual, pemilu adalah sarana perwujudan kedaulatan rakyat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis terjadinya Tindakan money politic pada saat berlangsunnya pemilu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan desain penelitian studi kasus. Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemukannya budaya money politic yang dilakukan oleh para partai politik secara berkepanjangan sehingga masyarakat menanggapi hal ini adalah bentuk dari kebiasaan. Oleh karena itu, hendaknya para partai politik melakukan proses kampanye secara transparan agar proses pemilu berlangsung dengan baik dan Masyarakat memilih sesuai dengan yang mereka inginkan.
