Fungsi Deiksis Ruang dan Waktu dalam 'Karawang-Bekasi': Analisis Pragmatik Puisi Chairil Anwar

Penelitian ini menganalisis fungsi deiksis ruang dan waktu dalam puisi "Karawang-Bekasi" karya Chairil Anwar melalui pendekatan pragmatik. Fokus utama difokuskan pada bagaimana penanda spasial-temporal tersebut tidak hanya merepresentasikan konteks historis pertempuran kemerdekaan Indonesia (1945–1949), tetapi juga berfungsi sebagai instrumen retoris untuk membangun narasi kolektif, memori nasional, dan pesan ideologis. Metode kualitatif digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi pola deiksis ruang (seperti "antara Karawang-Bekasi", "garis batas") dan waktu (seperti "kini", "malam sepi"), serta menganalisis fungsi pragmatisnya dalam menghubungkan teks dengan realitas sosiohistoris. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Chairil Anwar memanfaatkan deiksis sebagai strategi komunikasi multidimensi: (1) ruang geografis ditransformasikan menjadi simbol pengorbanan universal, (2) temporalitas "kini" menciptakan paradoks hidup-mati yang mengaburkan batas kronologis, dan (3) imperatif seperti "kenanglah kami" berfungsi sebagai tindak tutur yang menuntut tanggung jawab generasi penerus. Melalui analisis ini, penelitian berkontribusi pada pemahaman tentang peran bahasa puitis dalam merekonstruksi identitas nasional dan mentransmisikan nilai perjuangan antargenerasi.
