Pengaruh Minat dan Dukungan Orang Tua Terhadap Keputusan Pemilihan Program Jurusan di LKP Prisma Pangkalan Bun Kalimantan Tengah Melalui Motivasi Sebagai Variabel Intervening

LKP Prisma Pangkalan Bun merupakan salah satu lembaga pendidikan nonformal di Kabupaten Kotawaringin Barat, Kalimantan Tengah, yang berfokus pada pelatihan keterampilan kerja melalui program-program vokasional. Dalam praktiknya, lembaga ini menghadapi fenomena di mana sebagian peserta didik memilih jurusan bukan karena minat pribadi, melainkan karena tekanan eksternal, seperti anjuran orang tua atau pengaruh lingkungan sosial. Ketidaksesuaian antara jurusan yang dipilih dengan minat pribadi sering kali berdampak pada rendahnya motivasi belajar dan risiko berhenti mengikuti pelatihan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui metode survei. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampel jenuh, dengan total 86 responden yang terdiri dari alumni dan peserta aktif LKP Prisma tahun ajaran 2023/2024 dan 2024/2025. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner online (Google Form) dan dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak SmartPLS 3, untuk menguji validitas, reliabilitas, serta menganalisis hubungan antar variabel melalui model struktural. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Minat berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi; (2) Dukungan orang tua tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi; (3) Minat berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pemilihan program jurusan; (4) Dukungan orang tua tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pemilihan jurusan; (5) Motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pemilihan jurusan; (6) Motivasi terbukti memediasi secara signifikan pengaruh minat terhadap keputusan pemilihan jurusan; (7) Motivasi tidak memediasi pengaruh dukungan orang tua terhadap keputusan pemilihan jurusan.
