Study of the Urgency of Citizenship Education for Citizens Who Violate Human Rights in the Era of Revolution 4.0

Citizenship education is a study in the context of national education which plays an important role as character formation. This research aims to analyze the urgency of citizenship education for human rights violations that occurred in the era of revolution 4.0. This research method uses the library method. The library method is a method where data is collected by reading and analyzing various reference sources. In this article, the author uses references from various journals, books or e-books, as well as other online media. Furthermore, the author also looked at several events and news circulating in society as a step to obtain more accurate data. The research results show that there are human rights violations in the era of revolution 4.0 and of course citizenship education has an important role in overcoming the violations that occur.
