Peningkatan Employability Penyandang Disabilitas Melalui Pelatihan Service Excellence dan Personal Branding Berbasis Strength-Based Model

Tujuan dari Program Pengabdian Masyarakat ini Adalah merespons rendahnya partisipasi penyandang disabilitas dalam dunia kerja di Yogyakarta. Meskipun dikenal sebagai daerah inklusif, data menunjukkan Tingkat Partisipasi Angkatan Kerja penyandang disabilitas hanya mencapai 35 persen dari hampir 3.000 penyandang disabilitas usia produktif. Program bermitra dengan Himpunan Disabilitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta yang baru terbentuk akhir 2023 dengan 10 anggota dan 20 disabilitas binaan. Dua permasalahan prioritas diidentifikasi: kurangnya kompetensi kerja di sektor hospitality dan rendahnya kemampuan personal branding yang terhambat stigma sosial. Tujuan program adalah meningkatkan kompetensi penyandang disabilitas sesuai kebutuhan industri jasa, membangun personal branding profesional, dan memfasilitasi link and match dengan industri hospitality. Metode pelaksanaan mengadopsi Social Cognitive Career Theory dan Strength Based Model yang dirancang dalam 10 tahapan selama 8 bulan, dimulai dari sosialisasi, asesmen kesiapan menggunakan StrengthsFinder, pelatihan personal branding dan service excellence inklusif. Inovasi teknologi berupa platform website portofolio dikembangkan untuk mendokumentasikan kompetensi peserta, didukung video pembelajaran ramah disabilitas dan peralatan profesional. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan 90 persen peserta meningkat pemahaman standar layanan, 85 persen berhasil menyusun profil profesional, dan beberapa peserta diterima magang dengan peluang rekrutmen permanen. Program menghasilkan luaran artikel ilmiah, publikasi media massa, poster, video kegiatan, website portofolio, dan rekognisi mahasiswa dalam mata kuliah. Program ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan terintegrasi dapat mengatasi hambatan kompetensi dan personal branding penyandang disabilitas, membuka ekosistem kerja inklusif di Yogyakarta
