Comparative Analysis of 4G LTE Signal Quality Using Okumura Hatta's Calculations in ITP Campus Buildings

Abstract


Okumura Hatta is a propagation model used to estimate the signal strength received by the receiver. To find out the signal received by the receiver, a walk test process is needed. The walk test itself is a method used to measure a signal in the room. The signal measured is only on the 4G LTE network, especially Tri and Telkomsel operators on the ITP campus and the 4G LTE parameters measured are PCI (Pyhsicall Cell Identity), RSRP (Reference Signal Received Power), SINR (Signal to Interference Noise Ratio) and RSRQ ( Reference Signal Received Quality). This measurement is carried out to see what the real signal conditions are in the field so that later the results obtained can be compared with the estimated results using Okumura Hatta's propagation calculations.
