Hubungan Social Comparison dan Envy dengan Career Anxiety pada Fresh Graduate Pengguna LinkedIn

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan antara social comparison dan envy dengan career anxiety pada fresh graduate pengguna LinkedIn, serta menguji peran envy sebagai mediator dalam hubungan antara social comparison dan career anxiety. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari fenomena meningkatnya penggunaan LinkedIn di kalangan fresh graduate Indonesia di tengah tingginya tingkat pengangguran terbuka lulusan perguruan tinggi. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan dari 232 fresh graduate pengguna LinkedIn di Indonesia. Instrumen penelitian meliputi skala social comparison, skala envy, dan skala career anxiety. Karena data terdistribusi tidak normal, analisis menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara social comparison dan career anxiety (rs = .315, p < .01), antara envy dan career anxiety (rs = .561, p < .01), serta antara social comparison dan envy (rs = .423, p < .01). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah semakin tinggi kecenderungan fresh graduate melakukan perbandingan sosial di LinkedIn, semakin tinggi pula rasa envy dan kecemasan karier yang dialami.
