Upaya Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar dan Berpikir Kritis pada Pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan Melalui Model Problem Based Learning

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan berpikir kritis di SDN Purbowono. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas.subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Purbowono. Instrumen pengumpulan data yaitu peneliti sendiri dengan alat bantu berupa pedoman observasi, pretest, posttest, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian, observasi motivasi belajar pada siklus I hanya sebagian siswa yang memperhatikan guru dalam menjelaskan materi PKn, dan masih banyak yang belum mampu bekerja sama dalam kelompok. Hasil observasi pada siklus II sudah banyak peningkatan yang memperhatikan guru dan bekerja sama dalam kelompok. Pretest dan postest pada siklus I dan II terlihat juga mengalami peningkatan. Hasil pretest dan postest siklus I mencapai nilai rata-rata 8,3 dengan kategori baik, kemudian  persentase siswa masih 70% dalam kategori minimal baik. Hasil siklus Ii mengalami peningkatan yaitu mencapai rata-rata 9,8 dengan kategori baik, adapun persentase siswa kategori minimal baik dan 100% sangat baik.
