Materi pecahan adalah salah satu materi dasar matematika yang harus dikuasai siswa sejak jenjang sekolah dasar, Pecahan memuat banyak aturan berupa aksioma, defenisi, teorema, rumus dan argoritme. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman belajar siswa melalui materi pecahan yang diajarkan oleh pendidik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode peneliti kepustakaan atau studi pustaka. Berdasarkan hasil pengumpulan data yang dikumpulkan, bahwa pembelajaran yang menggunakan media kepingan cd menujukkan aktivitas guru menjadi meningkat dan presentase murid dalam hasil belajar mencapai nilai KKM.
