Abstract

Pada tahun 2022, Indonesia dikejutkan oleh kematian Brigadir Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat (Brigadir J) yang dilaporkan oleh Brigadir Jenderal Ferdy Sambo. Awalnya, kasus ini dipresentasikan sebagai insiden tembak-menembak antara Brigadir J dan Bharada E. Namun, investigasi lebih lanjut mengungkap bahwa insiden tersebut merupakan hasil rekayasa Ferdy Sambo dan beberapa rekan kerjanya. Metode penelitian yang penulis gunakan dalam menyusun artikel ilmiah ini adalah dengan jenis penelitian normatif dengan memanfaatkan data sekunder dari literatur yang ada untuk menganalisis proses peradilan dari awal hingga putusan di Pengadilan Negeri Jakarta Selatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Ferdy Sambo dan beberapa tersangka lainnya terbukti bersalah atas pembunuhan berencana dan berbagai upaya untuk menghilangkan barang bukti. Ferdy Sambo akhirnya dijatuhi hukuman mati. Kasus ini menyoroti pelanggaran etik dalam penegakan hukum dan mengungkap pentingnya keadilan serta integritas dalam proses peradilan.
