Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pemahaman metodologi penelitian terhadap kelancaran penyusunan skripsi mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Medan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitaif dengan uji regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman metodologi penelitian berpengaruh signfikan terhadap kelancaraan penyusunan skripsi, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 dan koefisien regresi 0,705. Uji koefisien determinasi ( R 2) sebesar 43,6% mengindikasikan bahwa pemahaman metodologi penelitian menjelaskan hampir setengah dari variasi kelancaran skripsi, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Hasil ini mendukung teori para ahli yang menyatakan bahwa pemahaman metodologi yang baik dapat membantu mahasiswa dalam menyusun skripsi secara sistematis dan efisien. Oleh karena itu, universitas perlu meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran metodologi melalui workshop, bimbingan yang lebih intensif dan akses refrensi yang memadai.
