Abstract

Di Indonesia masih terdapat beberapa orang tua yang tergolong belum layak dalam memberikan pola asuh yang tepat kepada anaknya. Hal tersebut akan berdampak pada baik buruknya perilaku anak. Faktanya gaya pengasuhan dapat membentuk atau mendorong perubahan pada perilaku anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode korelasi dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui dan membuktikan hubungan antara pola asuh orang tua gaya authoritative dengan disiplin belajar siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Dalam penelitian ini, teknik pengumpulan datanya dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner yang diberikan kepada orang tua dan siswa kelas IV SD di Kecamatan Cilincing, Jakarta Utara. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pola asuh orang tua gaya authoritative dengan disiplin belajar siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar dengan dibuktikan dari perhitungan uji signifikansi (Uji-t) diperoleh 5,934 > 1,657.
