Pengaruh Pemahaman Penumpang tentang Barang Bawaan yang Dilarang terhadap Keamanan Penerbangan di Bandar Udara Kualanamu

Aturan barang dilarang (prohibited items) sangat krusial bagi keamanan penerbangan. Di Bandar Udara Internasional Kualanamu, tercatat 9.648 barang disita selama tahun 2025, yang mengindikasikan rendahnya pemahaman penumpang. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis tingkat pemahaman penumpang dan pengaruhnya terhadap keamanan penerbangan di Bandar Udara Internasional Kualanamu. Menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional, data dikumpulkan dari 100 responden (rumus Slovin) melalui kuesioner dan observasi, lalu dianalisis dengan persamaan regresi linear sederhana Y= -2,857+1,058X . Hasil menunjukkan pemahaman penumpang berada pada kategori kurang baik. Analisis korelasi menghasilkan koefisien korelasi (r) 0,934 dan koefisien determinasi (r²) sebesar 87,3%, serta uji t menunjukkan pengaruh positif dan signifikan (t hitung 25,981 > t tabel 1,660; sig 0,000). Disimpulkan bahwa pemahaman penumpang berpengaruh sangat kuat terhadap keamanan penerbangan. Implikasinya, pengelola bandara perlu mengoptimalkan sosialisasi melalui infografis digital dan media interaktif di area strategis seperti check-in counter untuk meningkatkan pemahaman teknis penumpang.
