Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pola, perubahan makna dan aspek makna sinestesia pada bahasa Melayu Riau subdialek Kampar Kiri. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskrptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi dan wawancara. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, sajian data dan dilanjutkan dengan menarik kesimpulan. Berdasarkan penelitian, ditemukan sebanyak 49 data dengan klasifikasi 10 pola sinestesia beserta perubahan maknanya yang terdiri dari indra penglihatan, pendengaran, peraba, perasa dan penciuman. Ditemukan 6 aspek makna sinestesia yang terdiri dari makna pengertian, perasaan, nada, tujuan, latar dan relasi.
