Penerapan Tilang Elektronik Sebagai Upaya Mengurangi Pelanggaran Lalu Lintas

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Proses pelaksanaan Tilang Elektronik (E-Tilang) dan untuk mengetahui kendala dalam pelaksanaan tilang elektronik (E-Tilang). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian hukum empiris. Dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan,konseptual dan pendekatan kasus. Sumber data ialah lapangan dan kepustakaan. Jenis Jenis data ialah data primer dan sekunder. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: pertama, E- tilang membantu petugas lalu lintas dalam menjalankan tugasnya menertibkan jalan raya dalam menangkap para pelanggar lalu lintas.mekanisme E-Tilang tidak jauhberbeda dengan tilang biasa, perbedaanya terjadi digitalisasi data pelanggar dengan pembayaran yang lebih mudah. Kedua, kendala-kendala yang dihadapi satlantas dalam pelaksanaan E-Tilang yaitu: (1)Terjadinyakesalahan server dan data error (2)Sarana yang masih kurang (3)Kurangnya pemahaman tentang tilang elektronik (E-Tilang).
