Pengaruh Senam Yoga Terhadap Kadar Glukosa Darah pada Penderita Diabetes Melitus di Puskesmas Kenten Palembang Tahun 2024

Diabetes Mellitus merupakan salah satu penyakit metabolik yang terus meningkat prevalensinya. Pengelolaan kadar glukosa darah yang efektif sangat penting untuk mencegah komplikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh senam yoga terhadap kadar glukosa darah pada penderita Diabetes Mellitus di Puskesmas Kenten Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pre-eksperimental dengan pendekatan one-group pretest-posttest. Sampel terdiri dari 32 responden yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kadar glukosa darah sebelum intervensi adalah 183,28 mg/dL, sedangkan setelah intervensi menurun menjadi 177,13 mg/dL (p < 0,001). Analisis menggunakan Paired Sample T-Test menunjukkan bahwa senam yoga memberikan pengaruh signifikan dalam menurunkan kadar glukosa darah. Senam yoga berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan sensitivitas insulin, pengurangan stres, serta perbaikan fungsi metabolisme tubuh. Oleh karena itu, senam yoga dapat dijadikan sebagai terapi non-farmakologis yang efektif bagi penderita Diabetes Mellitus dalam mengontrol kadar glukosa darah.
