Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning pada Materi Sunan Giri untuk Meningkatkan Prestasi Belajar Siswa

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan upaya peningkatan hasil belajar Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam dengan model problem based learning pada kelas VI MI Daar Al- Hanan.  Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjeknya adalah siswa kelas VI MI Daar Al-Hanan yang berjumlah 18 siswa dengan metode pengambilan sampel acak sederhana (Simpel Random Sampling). Desain PTK menggunakan model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang meliputi perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan Tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar, hal ini dapat dilihat dari ketuntaasan KKM siswa pra tindakan dan pada siklus I terjadi peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari nilai pre tes atau pra siklus yaitu  nilai rata-rata  70 menjadi 73 dengan ketuntasan klasikal yaitu 30%. Dan setelah dilakukan penelitian tindakan kelas siklus II  terjadi peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari 70 menjadi 78,25 dengan ketuntasan klasikal yaitu 80%. Dengan demikian penggunaan model problem based learning terbukti dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi Sunan Giri.
