Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penerapan teknik passing dalam permainan sepak bola menggunakan pendekatan discovery learning untuk siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, di mana setiap siklus mencakup perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 30 siswa Negeri Medan. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi hasil unjuk kerja siswa dalam teknik passing dan aktivitas selama proses pembelajaran. Pengukuran dilakukan melalui tes keterampilan passing dan lembar observasi untuk menilai partisipasi siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan discovery learning meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang teknik passing, serta memotivasi siswa untuk lebih aktif dalam belajar. Dengan pendekatan ini, siswa tidak hanya memperoleh keterampilan teknis, tetapi juga kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kerja sama dalam kelompok. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan metode pembelajaran sepak bola di sekolah.
