Pengembangan Literasi Bilingual Untuk Penulis Indonesia Yang Ingin Menembus Pasar Global

Literasi bilingual merupakan keterampilan krusial bagi penulis Indonesia untuk bersaing di pasar internasional, tidak hanya dalam penguasaan bahasa, tetapi juga dalam pemahaman budaya dan gaya komunikasi yang sesuai dengan audiens global. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi hambatan literasi bilingual, mengeksplorasi penerapan Teori Interdependensi Jim Cummins, serta merumuskan strategi pengembangannya. Dengan Pendekatan Kualitatif dengan Studi Literatur literasi bilingual, penelitian ini menganalisis hubungan antara penguasaan bahasa pertama (L1) dan bahasa kedua (L2). Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa kendala utama meliputi keterbatasan dalam penguasaan bahasa Inggris, minimnya pemahaman budaya global, serta terbatasnya akses terhadap sumber daya yang mendukung pengembangan literasi bilingual. Melalui penerapan Teori Cummins, penulis dapat memperkuat literasi dalam L1 sebagai fondasi untuk memfasilitasi transfer keterampilan ke L2. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan panduan strategis bagi penulis Indonesia untuk meningkatkan daya saing karya mereka di pasar global.
