Abstract

The current of globalization has now hit all corners of the world, especially Indonesia. According to the We Are Social report, social media users in Indonesia have reached 167 people as of January 2023. This is a record that social media has had a big influence on the world. The research using quantitative research methods aims to prove how big the influence of globalization is on the positive and negative aspects of people's lives. The results of the research obtained are that the positive and negative impacts received by the community in using social media are of the same magnitude, so there is a great need for guidance on its use, especially for children who are still underage.
