Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengetahui Pengaruh Locus of Control terhadap Prestasi Belajar Siswa SMAN 23 Makassar, 2) mengetahui Pengaruh Motivasi Belajar terhadap Prestasi Belajar Prestasi Belajar Siswa SMAN 23 Makassar, 3) mengetahui Pengaruh Locus of Control dan Motivasi Belajar secara bersama-sama terhadap Prestasi Belajar Prestasi Belajar Siswa SMAN 23 Makassar. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian ex post facto dan penelitian kausal komparatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan populasi dari siswa kelas XI Siswa SMAN 23 Makassar yang berjumlah 46 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian: 1) Locus of Control berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Prestasi Belajar dengan rx1y = 0,304; r2x1y = 0,092; thitung = 2,114 > ttabel = 1,678 dan taraf signifikansi 5%. 2) Motivasi Belajar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Prestasi Belajar dengan rx2y = 0,427; r2x2y = 0,183; thitung = 3,135 > ttabel = 1,678 dan taraf signifikansi 5%. 3) Locus of Control dan Motivasi Belajar secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Prestasi Belajar dengan Ry(1,2) = 0,480; R2y(1,2) = 0,231; Fhitung = 6,444 > Ftabel = 3,20 dan taraf signifikansi 5%. Locus of Control memberikan sumbangan relatif sebesar 21,8% dan Motivasi Belajar sebesar 78,2%. Sumbangan efektif dari variabel Locus of Control sebesar 5,04% dan Motivasi Belajar sebesar 18,06%.
