Abstract

Artikel ini mengalisis lirik nasyīd anā al-‘abd oleh syekh Misyārī Rāsyid Al-‘Afāsī dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan teori semiotika Michael Riffaterre. Lebih spesifik, artikel ini mengkaji bagaimana hasil pembacaan heuristik dan pembacaan hermeneutik pada lirik nasyīd. Data primer penelitian ini diambil dari liirk nasyīd anā al-‘abd yang diambil dari salah satu album syekh Misyārī Rāsyid Al-‘Afāsī yang berjudul “Qalbī al-Ṣagīr” pada tahun 2006 dan diunggah dalam kanal youtube “Alafasy” pada 3 April 2014. Adapun data sekunder diperoleh dari berbagai sumber berupa buku-buku, tulisan-tulisan, artikel, jurnal dan karya-karya ilmiah terdahulu lainnya yang memiliki hubungan dengan pembahasan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa nasyīd anā al-‘abd melalui pembacaan heuristik, berisi pengakuan dosa, perasaan bersalah, dan permohonan ampun secara eksplisit. Sedangkan melalui pembacaan hermeneutik mengandung makna mendalam tentang perjalanan spiritual seorang hamba dari keputusasaan menuju harapan akan pengampunan Tuhan, selaras dengan konsep taubat dalam Islam.
