Menghadapi Perang Ekonomi di Sektor Pariwisata dan UMKM: Peran Artificial Intelligence (AI) Sebagai Alat Peperangan Asimetris

Pariwisata dan usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran krusial dalam perekonomian Indonesia. Keduanya memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap penciptaan lapangan kerja, peningkatan pendapatan nasional, serta stabilitas sosial. Namun, sektor-sektor ini sangat rentan terhadap ancaman perang ekonomi yang kian meningkat, terutama melalui strategi peperangan asimetris yang memanfaatkan teknologi kecerdasan buatan (AI) (Anderson dan Rainie, 2022). Artikel ini mengeksplorasi penggunaan AI dalam memanipulasi ulasan destinasi wisata, menyebarkan disinformasi mengenai produk UMKM, dan mengeksploitasi data untuk kepentingan aktor asing (Goutam, 2021). Di antara studi kasus yang dibahas, terdapat manipulasi ulasan wisata di Bali yang berdampak negatif pada citra global destinasi tersebut, serta kampanye disinformasi terhadap produk lokal seperti kopi Gayo yang memengaruhi pasar dan reputasi internasional (Sari, 2023). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ancaman ini berpotensi merusak stabilitas ekonomi, sosial, dan keamanan nasional. Sebagai langkah mitigasi, artikel ini merekomendasikan penguatan kebijakan berbasis teknologi untuk melindungi sektor-sektor vital ini. Langkah-langkah tersebut meliputi pengembangan keamanan digital, kolaborasi lintas sektor, serta penerapan kecerdasan buatan untuk deteksi dini ancaman. Dengan demikian, artikel ini bertujuan untuk memberikan wawasan mendalam mengenai tantangan yang dihadapi dan solusi yang dapat diimplementasikan untuk melindungi sektor pariwisata dan UMKM Indonesia dari perang ekonomi berbasis teknologi yang semakin canggih.
