Gambaran Insecure Attachment pada Dewasa Awal yang Memiliki Hubungan Romantis

Hubungan romantis pada dewasa awal merupakan aspek penting dalam perkembangan psikososial, namun tidak semua individu mampu membangun hubungan yang aman secara emosional. Latar belakang keluarga, khususnya pengalaman dibesarkan oleh orang tua tunggal, serta karakteristik demografis dan relasional diduga berkontribusi terhadap munculnya insecure attachment dalam hubungan romantis. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan tingkat insecure attachment ditinjau dari faktor demografi dan relasional, seperti jenis kelamin, usia, lama berpacaran, status orang tua, lama memiliki orang tua tunggal, serta kedekatan dengan orang tua. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif komparatif dengan melibatkan partisipan dewasa awal berusia 18–25 tahun yang sedang menjalin hubungan romantis dan memiliki latar belakang orang tua tunggal. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah Experiences in Close Relationships (ECR) yang mengukur dua dimensi insecure attachment, yaitu anxiety attachment dan avoidance attachment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat insecure attachment berada pada kategori sedang dengan anxiety attachment sebagai dimensi yang lebih dominan. Hasil uji beda menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan berdasarkan jenis kelamin, usia, dan lama berpacaran, namun terdapat perbedaan berdasarkan faktor relasional keluarga, khususnya lama memiliki orang tua tunggal dan kedekatan dengan orang tua, sehingga insecure attachment lebih dipengaruhi oleh kualitas pengalaman relasional dibandingkan karakteristik demografis.
