Analisis Komparatif terhadap Perbandingan Presidential Threshold di Indonesia dengan Negara-Negara Demokrasi Lain

Studi ini mengkaji Presidential Threshold di Indonesia, yakni batas minimum perolehan suara yang harus diperoleh partai politik untuk dapat mengajukan calon presiden.. Ketentuan ini diatur dalam Undang-Undang Pemilihan Umum Nomor 7 Tahun 2017 dan menjadi salah satu isu sentral dalam pemilihan presiden, khususnya menjelang Pemilu 2024. Menjelang pemilihan presiden 2024, banyak pihak menilai bahwa Presidential Threshold yang tinggi, yaitu 20% kursi di DPR atau 25% suara sah nasional, mengekang representasi politik dan mengurangi peluang terhadap calon independen dan partai-partai kecil untuk berpartisipasi dalam kompetisi politik. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan normatif dan metode komparatif untuk mengidentifikasi perbedaan serta persamaan mekanisme Presidential Threshold di berbagai negara Turki dan Rusia.
