Efektivitas Peran Mahkamah Konstitusi Dalam Menjaga Konstitusionalitas Undang-Undang

Mahkamah Konstitusi (MK) memiliki peran krusial dalam menjaga konstitusionalitas undang undang di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas peran Mahkamah Konstitusi (MK) dalam melaksanakan pengujian konstitusional, menyelesaikan sengketa, dan melindungi hak-hak konstitusional. Sebagai lembaga yudikatif yang memiliki kewenangan untuk menguji undang-undang terhadap UUD 1945, MK Berperan penting dalam memastikan bahwa setiap produk legislasi sejalan dengan prinsip-prinsip konstitusi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa MK berkontribusi signifikan terhadap stabilitas demokrasi dan supremasi hukum, meskipun dihadapkan pada tantangan seperti intervensi politik dan kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat tentang peran MK. Dengan demikian, MK tidak hanya sebagai penjaga kosntisusi tetapi juga sebagai pengawal keadilan dalam sistem pemerintahan yang demokratis.
