Efektivitas Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) dalam Penyelesaian Sengketa E-Commerce Internasional

Pesatnya pertumbuhan perdagangan elektronik (e-commerce) lintas batas negara membawa tantangan baru dalam penyelesaian sengketa konsumen. Metode litigasi konvensional seringkali dianggap tidak efektif karena kendala yurisdiksi, biaya yang tinggi, dan perbedaan sistem hukum. Artikel ini menganalisis efektivitas Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) sebagai alternatif penyelesaian sengketa di era digital. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian normatif, artikel ini menemukan bahwa ODR menawarkan efisiensi waktu dan biaya yang signifikan. Namun, tantangan utama tetap terletak pada eksekusi putusan (enforcement) dan standarisasi prosedur internasional. Artikel ini menyimpulkan perlunya harmonisasi regulasi global untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan konsumen terhadap sistem ODR.
