Faktor Penentu Kinerja Kepala Sekolah Menengah Pertama Kabupaten Lebak Banten

Abstract


Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh informasi terkait kemungkinan apakah suatu prestasi kerja dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan kerja, minat kerja, dan kepuasan kerja. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kausal melalui survei terhadap kepala sekolah menengah pertama di Kabupaten Lebak Banten, Indonesia. Populasi kepala sekolah SMP sebanyak 225 orang yang selanjutnya diperoleh 53 kepala sekolah SMP di Kabupaten Lebak setelah dilakukan pengambilan sampel secara purposive dengan pertimbangan tertentu. Metode survei kuantitatif digunakan sebagai metode penelitian ini. Selanjutnya kuesioner digunakan untuk memperoleh data. Korelasi dan regresi merupakan teknik yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan empat temuan. Pertama, adanya pengaruh kemampuan kerja terhadap prestasi kerja. Kedua, terdapat pengaruh minat kerja terhadap prestasi kerja. Ketiga, terdapat pengaruh kepuasan kerja terhadap prestasi kerja. Terakhir, terdapat pengaruh secara bersama-sama kemampuan kerja, minat kerja, dan kepuasan kerja terhadap prestasi kerja. Oleh karena itu, temuan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa SMP di Kabupaten Lebak perlu mempertimbangkan variabel kemampuan kerja, minat kerja, dan kepuasan kerja Kepala Sekolah dalam merencanakan dan mengembangkan sumber daya manusia di SMP di Kabupaten Lebak.
