Abstract

Hutang merupakan masalah yang sering dihadapi banyak orang. Dibutuhkan aplikasi pencatatan hutang yang memudahkan pengelolaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan membangun aplikasi berbasis client server untuk mencatat hutang menggunakan NetBeans dan Java. Aplikasi dikembangkan dengan model client server, di mana client  menangani antarmuka dan interaksi user, sedangkan server menangani basis data. Client dibangun menggunakan Java di NetBeans dan berkomunikasi dengan server basis data MySQL. Dengan model ini, beban kerja terbagi antara client dan server sehingga performa lebih optimal. Client dapat melakukan penambahan, pengubahan, dan penghapusan data hutang yang disinkronkan dengan server secara real-time. Semua data hutang tersimpan server basis data MySQL. Dari sisi client, user dapat melihat daftar hutang, riwayat pembayaran, dan laporan lainnya yang diambil dari server. Pembagian kerja client server memungkinkan aplikasi tetap berjalan optimal meski banyak client terhubung simultan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan aplikasi client server ini berjalan baik. Dengan fitur-fitur yang disediakan, aplikasi ini dapat membantu pengguna mengelola pencatatan hutang lebih teratur.
