Perlindungan hukum terhadap perempuan sebagai korban kekerasan seksual respons terhadap meningkatnya kasus pelecehan dan kekerasan muka. Undang-undang dan kebijakan dilakukan untuk melindungi hak-hak perempuan, mendorong pengaduan, dan menindak pelaku kejahatan seksual di dunia maya dan dunia nyata. Tujuannya adalah menciptakan lingkungan maya yang aman, mendukung korban, dan menegakkan keadilan dalam ruang digital. Bentuk kekerasan seksual di era digital semakin meningkat, termasuk pelecehan visual, verbal, doxing, dan akun palsu. Diperlukan regulasi hukum untuk menjamin perlindungan terhadap para korban pelecehan.
