Prinsip-Prinsip Kemanusiaan dalam Ajaran Buddhis dan Implementasinya di Era Modern

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam prinsip-prinsip kemanusiaan dalam ajaran Buddhis dan relevansinya dalam kehidupan modern. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan studi pustaka (library research) yang bersifat deskriptif-kualitatif. Penelitian ini berfokus pada analisis teks-teks Buddhis seperti kitab Tripitaka dan literatur akademik kontemporer. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prinsip-prinsip etis dalam Buddhisme tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai pedoman spiritual individu, tetapi juga memiliki relevansi praktis dalam konteks sosial, politik, pendidikan, dan ekologi modern. Nilai sīla berperan dalam pembentukan karakter dan moralitas sosial; karuṇā menjadi dasar bagi keadilan sosial dan kepemimpinan berbelas kasih; sedangkan ahiṃsā dan anicca menumbuhkan kesadaran ekologis yang sejalan dengan konsep pembangunan berkelanjutan, literatur akademik memperkuat pandangan bahwa ajaran Buddhis mengandung nilai-nilai kemanusiaan yang bersifat lintas waktu dan lintas budaya, serta dapat berperan sebagai kerangka etika global yang menyeimbangkan spiritualitas dan rasionalitas.
