Efektivitas Metode Drill terhadap Peningkatan Kemampuan Servis pada Pemula

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas metode drill dalam meningkatkan kemampuan servis pada pemula dalam permainan tenis lapangan. Servis merupakan teknik dasar yang sangat penting karena menjadi pukulan awal dalam setiap poin pertandingan. Pemula sering mengalami kesulitan dalam menghasilkan servis yang stabil, akurat, dan bertenaga. Metode drill, yang menekankan latihan pengulangan gerakan secara terstruktur, diyakini mampu membantu pemain menguasai teknik servis dengan lebih baik. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pre-test dan post-test dengan melibatkan 20 peserta pemula yang menjalani program latihan selama empat minggu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada aspek akurasi, konsistensi, serta kekuatan servis setelah penerapan metode drill. Dengan demikian, metode drill terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan servis tenis lapangan pada pemain pemula.
