Studi Analisis Gerak Forehand Tenis Lapangan pada Mahasiswa PKO I Angkatan 2024 UNIMED

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis gerak forehand tenis lapangan pada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Kepelatihan Olahraga (PKO) I Angkatan 2024 Universitas Negeri Medan (UNIMED). Fokus penelitian diarahkan pada identifikasi kesesuaian teknik forehand dengan prinsip-prinsip biomekanika, yang meliputi posisi awal, ayunan raket, transisi gerak, kontak bola, serta follow-through. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif analitis dengan teknik observasi dan perekaman video sebagai alat evaluasi gerak. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari mahasiswa PKO I yang sedang mengikuti mata kuliah tenis lapangan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa telah mampu melakukan pola gerak dasar forehand dengan benar, namun masih ditemukan beberapa kesalahan umum seperti posisi kaki yang kurang stabil, koordinasi ayunan raket yang belum optimal, dan waktu kontak bola yang kurang tepat. Temuan ini mengindikasikan perlunya penguatan latihan teknik dasar, peningkatan pemahaman biomekanika, serta penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis video untuk memaksimalkan kualitas gerak.
