Analisis Gerak Backhand Tenis Lapangan pada Mahasiswa PKO I Angkatan Tahun 2024

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis teknik gerak backhand pada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Kepelatihan Olahraga (PKO) I tahun 2024. Analisis dilakukan untuk mengetahui kesalahan gerak dominan, kualitas mekanika tubuh, serta efektivitas pemindahan energi selama pelaksanaan pukulan backhand. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik observasi video dan analisis biomekanika dasar. Sebanyak 20 mahasiswa berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesalahan yang paling dominan adalah posisi tubuh yang kurang stabil, sudut ayunan raket yang kurang optimal, serta timing kontak shuttlecock yang terlambat. Implikasi penelitian ini menekankan perlunya latihan khusus berupa penguatan otot inti, latihan koordinasi, serta drill teknik backhand secara progresif.
