Perkembangan Steam Anak Dalam Mengenal Gerak Kendaraan Melalui Proyek Mobil Botol Roket Balon

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat perkembangan kemampuan STEAM anak usia dini melalui proyek mobil botol roket balon sebagai media mengenalkan konsep gerak kendaraan. Metode yang digunakan adalah observasi langsung terhadap aktivitas anak dalam proses merancang, merakit, menghias, dan menguji mobil roket berbahan botol plastik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ini mampu menstimulasi seluruh aspek STEAM. Pada aspek sains, anak memahami hubungan antara dorongan udara dan gerak benda. Pada aspek teknologi dan engineering, anak menggunakan alat sederhana dan berlatih memperbaiki konstruksi ketika mobil tidak bergerak optimal. Aspek seni muncul melalui kreativitas anak dalam menghias mobil, sedangkan aspek matematika terlihat saat anak mengukur jarak tempuh serta membandingkan ukuran dan kecepatan. Selain itu, proyek ini juga mengembangkan kemampuan sosial, kognitif, dan motorik halus melalui kerja sama dan pemecahan masalah. Dengan demikian, proyek mobil botol roket balon menjadi media pembelajaran yang efektif, menyenangkan, dan mendukung penerapan pendekatan STEAM dalam pendidikan anak usia dini.
