Strategi Skadron-21/AAY Puspenerbad Dalam Rangka Meningkatkan Kualitas Pilot Melalui Pembinaan Kualifikasi Penerbang CASA-212/Aviocar Guna Mendukung BKO Operasi Pengamanan

Operasi pengamanan daerah rawan Maluku menuntut dukungan udara yang sangat diperlukan, terutama dengan bantuan Pusat Penerbangan Angkatan Darat Indonesia (Puspenerbad). Skadron-21/Akasa Aqraya Yudha (AAY), sebagai unit yang mengoperasikan pesawat Casa-212/Aviocar, memiliki fungsi strategis dalam mendukung Operasi di Bawah Kendali Operasional (BKO). Namun, jumlah dan kualitas Pilot ( Pilot) yang terbatas menjadi tantangan serius yang mempengaruhi tempo, fleksibilitas, dan kelangsungan dukungan udara. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kondisi pelatihan Pilot yang ada dan mengembangkan metode untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelatihan sertifikasi pilot Casa-212/Aviocar guna mendukung efektivitas operasi keamanan di wilayah Maluku yang rentan. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi, serta validasi data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan pilot telah dilaksanakan sesuai dengan doktrin Puspenerbad, namun masih menghadapi hambatan sistemik berupa jam terbang efektif yang terbatas, kesiapan peralatan pertahanan yang fluktuatif, dan pelatihan yang masih didominasi prosedural dan belum sepenuhnya berorientasi pada misi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pelatihan berbasis kompetensi dan berorientasi pada misi, melalui penguatan pembimbingan, optimalisasi jam terbang, dan sinkronisasi kebutuhan operasional, merupakan kunci untuk meningkatkan kesiapan operasional Skadron 21/AAY dalam mendukung keamanan berkelanjutan di wilayah Maluku.
