Abstract

Pengabdian berbasis sekolah ini berangkat dari kebutuhan SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Batu dalam memperluas literasi olahraga melalui cabang Petanque yang belum banyak dikenal dalam pembelajaran PJOK maupun kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Kondisi awal mitra menunjukkan bahwa sekolah memiliki potensi lahan, dukungan kelembagaan, dan antusiasme siswa, tetapi belum didukung oleh kompetensi guru, ketersediaan sarana, serta sistem pembinaan Petanque yang terstruktur. Artikel ini bertujuan menguraikan model pemberdayaan sekolah berbasis Petanque sebagai strategi peningkatan pengetahuan, keterampilan, minat, dan kesiapan warga sekolah dalam mengembangkan olahraga alternatif. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif-partisipatif melalui tahapan pemetaan kebutuhan, sosialisasi program, pelatihan guru, praktik siswa, penyediaan produk hard berupa peralatan Petanque, penyusunan produk soft berupa modul dan panduan praktik, dokumentasi kegiatan, serta evaluasi proses. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa model pemberdayaan mampu mendorong peningkatan pemahaman guru terhadap teknik dasar, aturan permainan, dan pola pembinaan Petanque. Siswa juga menunjukkan respons positif melalui keterlibatan aktif dalam praktik lapangan, rasa ingin tahu terhadap permainan, serta minat untuk mengikuti kegiatan lanjutan. Selain itu, tersedianya alat, modul, dan rancangan pembinaan menjadi fondasi awal bagi sekolah untuk mengembangkan Petanque secara berkelanjutan. Model ini memberi kontribusi praktis bagi penguatan ekosistem olahraga sekolah sekaligus memperluas literasi olahraga siswa secara kontekstual, aplikatif, dan sesuai kebutuhan mitra.
