Edukasi Manajemen Keuangan Pribadi Untuk Meningkatkan Kemandirian Finansial Siswa SMA Muhammadiyah 8 Ciputat Tangerang Selatan

Perkembangan teknologi digital dan kemudahan akses layanan keuangan memberikan dampak positif sekaligus tantangan bagi generasi muda dalam mengelola keuangan pribadi. Rendahnya literasi keuangan dan tingginya perilaku konsumtif menjadi permasalahan yang masih banyak ditemukan pada siswa sekolah menengah. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa mengenai manajemen keuangan pribadi serta membangun kemandirian finansial sejak usia dini. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di SMA Muhammadiyah 8 Ciputat Tangerang Selatan melalui metode ceramah, diskusi interaktif, studi kasus, dan sesi tanya jawab. Materi yang diberikan meliputi konsep dasar manajemen keuangan pribadi, penyusunan anggaran sederhana, pengelolaan uang saku, perbedaan kebutuhan dan keinginan, serta pentingnya menabung. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa mengenai pengelolaan keuangan, meningkatnya kesadaran dalam membedakan kebutuhan dan keinginan, tumbuhnya motivasi untuk menabung, serta meningkatnya kemampuan mengelola uang saku secara lebih efektif. Tingginya partisipasi peserta selama kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa edukasi keuangan sangat relevan dengan kebutuhan siswa. Kegiatan ini berhasil memberikan kontribusi positif dalam meningkatkan literasi keuangan dan membentuk perilaku finansial yang lebih bijak sebagai bekal menuju kemandirian finansial di masa depan.
