Peran Buku Teks dalam Pembelajaran di Sekolah Menengah: Tinjauan Literatur Sistematis

Buku teks telah memegang peranan penting dalam pembelajaran di sekolah menengah selama berabad-abad. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara komprehensif peran buku teks dalam pembelajaran di sekolah menengah serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi efektivitas penggunaannya. Studi literatur sistematis dilakukan dengan menelaah temuan dari berbagai penelitian terdahulu yang relevan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa buku teks berperan sebagai media penyampai utama kurikulum, membangun nilai-nilai positif, mengembangkan konsep sains, menjadi metode pengajaran utama, dan alat evaluasi pencapaian pembelajaran. Namun, efektivitas buku teks dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor seperti persepsi siswa, kesesuaian dengan perkembangan kognitif, keselarasan dengan tujuan kurikulum, kualitas konten berdasarkan teori pembelajaran, pengelompokan latihan, serta pengembangan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Temuan penelitian ini memberikan wawasan penting bagi pendidik, penyusun kurikulum, dan pembuat kebijakan dalam mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan buku teks di sekolah menengah.
