Abstract

Mengetahui tingkat kecemasan orang tua yang memiliki anak putus sekolah di Desa Segati Kecamatan  Langgam Kabupaten Pelalawan merupakan tujuan dari penelitian ini. Jenis penelitian ini jenisnya yakni penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasinya ialah 77 orang tua yang anaknya putus sekolah di Desa Segati. Sampel penelitian ada sebanyak 65 orang yang dipilih dengan memakai teknik Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling, dengan menggunakan Ms Excel dan SPSS 23. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kecemasan orang tua yang memiliki anak putus sekolah tergolong tinggi, dengan persentase rata-rata 74,44%. Hasil temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kecemasan orang tua yang memiliki anak putus sekolah tergolong tinggi, karena orang tua merasa takut dengan semakin dewasanya anak tersebut maka semakin dibutuhkan pendidikan, kemudian adanya pengaruh dari lingkungan luar seperti pergaulan bebas maupun berupa budaya, tingkat pendidikan orang tua, perhatian dan dukungan orang tua.
