Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis kontrastif untuk memeriksa struktur kalimat aktif dalam bahasa Inggris dan bahasa Indonesia. Ini menyelidiki perbedaan dalam konstruksi kalimat dan penggunaan kata kerja antara kedua bahasa, dengan fokus pada pola subjek-predikat- objek dalam bahasa Indonesia dan subjek-verba-objek dalam bahasa Inggris. Studi ini juga mengeksplorasi variasi dalam bentuk kata kerja dan kejelasan agen. Secara metodologis, melibatkan analisis kualitatif kalimat aktif. Tujuannya adalah untuk memberikan wawasan tentang tantangan yang dihadapi oleh pembelajar dan pendidik bahasa dalam memahami dan menggunakan kalimat aktif. Hasil penelitian menyoroti disparitas signifikan dalam struktur kalimat dan penggunaan kata kerja antara bahasa Inggris dan bahasa Indonesia. Memahami perbedaan ini sangat penting untuk pengajaran bahasa yang efektif. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada peningkatan strategi pembelajaran bahasa dan praktik pengajaran, memfasilitasi komunikasi lintas budaya yang lebih efektif.
