Analisis Pengaruh Ketimpangan Pendapatan dan Upah Minimum Regional Terhadap Kemiskinan di Sumatera Utara

Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh ketimpangan pendapatan dan upah minimum regional (UMR) terhadap tingkat kemiskinan di provinsi Sumatera Utara periode 2019-2023. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan data panel dari 33 kabupaten/kota di Sumatera Utara. Variabel dependen adalah tingkat kemiskinan sedangkan variabel independen adalah ketimpangan pendapatan dan UMR. Model estimasi menggunakan random effect. Hasil uji Chow, Hausman dan LM menunjukkan model random effect paling baik. Hasil analisis menunjukkan ketimpangan pendapatan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemiskinan. Sedangkan UMR berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap kemiskinan. Secara simultan, ketimpangan pendapatan dan UMR berpengaruh terhadap kemiskinan dengan kontribusi sebesar 20,94%. Disimpulkan bahwa ketimpangan pendapatan dan UMR memiliki peran penting dalam menentukan kemiskinan di Sumatera Utara.
