Abstract

Jalan memiliki peran vital sebagai infrastruktur transportasi untuk mendukung aktivitas ekonomi, sosial, dan budaya. Penurunan kualitas jalan, baik akibat faktor alam maupun manusia, memengaruhi kenyamanan dan keamanan pengguna jalan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kerusakan jalan di Jalan Rela-Jalan Keruntung, Kec. Percut Sei Tuan, Kab. Deli Serdang, Sumatera Utara menggunakan metode Pavement Condition Index (PCI). Dengan panjang jalan 1,4 km dibagi menjadi 7 sampel. Berdasarkan hasil, nilai PCI rata-rata yang didapat adalah 56,57 dengan kondisi baik (fair). Namun, kerusakan parah ditemukan di beberapa sampel, khususnya sampel 1 dengan nilai PCI sebesar 10 (kondisi gagal). Hal ini mengindikasikan perlunya tindakan perbaikan dan pemeliharaan segera. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi pemeliharaan dan perbaikan untuk meningkatkan kualitas jalan.
