Implementasi Pembelajaran PJOK Dalam Membangun Pendidikan Karakter di Sekolah Dasar

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga, dan Kesehatan (PJOK) dalam membangun pendidikan karakter di tingkat sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, dan tinjauan literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pembelajaran PJOK di sekolah dasar belum sepenuhnya optimal dalam membangun karakter siswa. Beberapa kendala yang ditemukan meliputi kurangnya pemahaman guru tentang pengintegrasian nilai-nilai karakter dalam aktivitas pembelajaran, minimnya sarana dan prasarana yang memadai, serta kurangnya perhatian terhadap variasi metode pembelajaran. Selain itu, siswa cenderung kurang termotivasi untuk mengikuti pembelajaran PJOK karena terbatasnya variasi aktivitas yang menarik. Upaya yang perlu dilakukan meliputi peningkatan pelatihan bagi guru PJOK untuk mengintegrasikan pendidikan karakter dalam kegiatan belajar, penyediaan fasilitas yang lebih memadai, dan pengembangan metode pembelajaran berbasis aktivitas fisik dan permainan edukatif. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi strategis untuk optimalisasi pembelajaran PJOK dalam mendukung pengembangan karakter siswa.
