Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis perbandingan performa web server yang berjalan pada sistem operasi Arch Linux dan Arch craft linux. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan web server dengan performa terbaik antara Apache pada sistem operasi yang berbeda dalam hal penggunaan CPU, penggunaan memori, dan downtime. Penelitian dilakukan di lingkungan VirtualBox untuk menginstal dan mengonfigurasi web server di kedua sistem. Pengujian performa dilakukan dengan menggunakan tolok ukur tertentu untuk mengukur beban CPU, konsumsi memori, dan stabilitas server di bawah berbagai beban permintaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Apache pada Archcraft memiliki penggunaan memory dan downtime yang lebih unggul dibandingkan Apache pada Arch Linux, menjadikannya pilihan yang lebih efisien dalam penggunaan sumber daya. Studi ini memberikan wawasan berharga bagi administrator yang ingin mengoptimalkan performa web server, terutama pada sistem operasi ringan.
